This was purchased as a "GEF" from Spink about 2000, and is by far the finest I have ever seen, these pictures were basically taken in the dark and very poor:
Terrible picture also! PCGS 65RB. Need to look up cert number as their pics MUCH better. When I first got the coin from Spink, my jaw hit the floor - no way I could have a coin this nice given the Penny fanatics over there. Much nicer than the NGC 65RB sold recently. Cert # 2818123 They have now taken their pictures down though.
No its about 5 years or 6 years. Is there any way of retrieving these.? I absolutely loved their picture!
Ask PCGS. Maybe shoot a PM to Phil Arnold (who is now "PCGSphoto", I believe), over in Collectors Universe. Or somebody like @messydesk could reshoot it.
Spanish lady at customer service says she doesn't know what happened and it has to be re-imaged. Guess its the next B-more show for me!
