King Farouk Medal?

What's the deal, why are collector's bidding crazy for this medal? Is it really that rare? The bidding is at $700, Reserve not met, 2 hours left. Hope I find one somewhere.

Maybe they think it comes with a 1933 $20 St. Gaudens.

It's a rare official medal, not sure why everyone is so surprised by the price.
