Well, my serial number habit is getting out of control. My latest "almost" is a 2004 $20 with the number ED34898934B. I don't know if there a name for that pattern, but it was fun to finally have something "jump out" at me. Does anyone know if there is a name for that? Thanks, Mike
No name I can think of, but it is palindromic if you count by two digit pairs rather than individual digits. Not a pattern that will bring any premium to serial number collectors, but it is kind of cool... if you can afford to not spend it may as well keep it, can always spend it later if you change your mind.
well it would be considered a bookend as the first 2 and last 2 numbers of the serial are the same. it does have a little repeating going on. its not that special of a note. as stated before if you can afford it keep it. if not spend it as there probably isnt much premium besides face.
Thanks for the info! I will probably post it on the open forum for face value if someone would like it. If not, ARCO or Shell will likely get it, along with the rest of my money. Thanks again, Mike
there are so many notes that come so close to being a full-blooded-radar. I find them way to often lol i always hope the universe is playing with me, and one of these days a full radar WILL pass in front of me
