Kind of confused on this penny

    Found it metal detecting today the date was had to make out so I'm soaking it. Is there a 1945 wheat penny with a 5 over the 4? When I hold it one way I see 195 with a raised 5 then turn it again and see 1945? I'll post pic soon just seeing if that's a thing lol

    Sounds like maybe the last digit, 5, got smooshed over to the place where the 4 is? Due to damage caused to the coin after minting? You're not seeing more than 4 digits on the date? How long does it have to soak?
