Only 50 cents to go on my Lincoln collection! That means i have 50 more Lincoln cents to go from 1909-2010 every mint, even proofs :D Anyone know where to get good deals on the key dates / semi keys? Thanks :)

just look around, use google, go to your local coin shows, try auction houses. Its just a matter of time and luck to find a good deal

I second Shoewrecky's comment. Just give it some time and one will pop up. Even on the 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, etc etc, but it won't be cheap either way unless you get a lower grade or damaged one.

A lot of that depends on your grade. If you are just filling holes, a circulated 26-S is fairly common. If you want an uncirculated set, the 26-S is probably a semi-key. If you are looking for a full red set, the 26-S is probably THE key. General conversation, the 09-S VDB and 14-D are the keys.

Remember, on the key dates you usually get what you pay for. So a coin that seems like a good deal finanicially, may end up being a less appealing coin and end up being bad deal. Instead of focusing only on price, try to find the best looking coin available at the price you're willing to pay. For example, if your budget is $1000 for a 1909-S VDB, there will be dozens out there on the market at that price, but not all will be equal in overall quality. Same story if your budget is $2500 or $5000 or whatever.

    Good luck!
