Are you still working in your father's pawn shop and milking customers for their silver? It seems the only time you come around is when you want someone to grade a coin for you so you can see how much you can flip it for. Chris
VG cleaned. Unfortunately these arent worth much until the mid VF range, with HUGE jumps in XF and AU.
Why yes I am. But I wouldn't call it milking them out of anything. Simply buying coins from the public. And FYI every coin you have ever seen posted on this site by me, has never been sold.
.......and you still haven't taken the time to learn how to grade for yourself as long as you can find someone to do it for you for free. Chris
As you should know, it takes a long time for one to learn how to grade. And I am still In the process of learning and this is a great avenue to do so.
Ya know, I'm going to read look at everything I can and see how far I can evolve at grading. Nothing against anyone we are at different levels of coin understanding, but I'll grow in my understanding. I'd work in a pawn shop for free just to get 1st chance at a coin, token, button etc. I'm a collector of everything, love to research from paintings to 80's stereos. Cool job
@cpm9ball I don't ever want you saying anything about my nasty, sarcastic posts around here after this thread. ...and from what I just read @Profit man did not take your "bait" and out classed you with his replies.
Hey, sorry I'm not trying to kiss any sss, I stop in a local shop in my town and I do learn alot. I dont know what you guys have going on; it not my business, I was just saying, you want to tattoo, sweep the floor in the shop and pick up knowledge. Ive sat around a pawn shop, watched then smelt, pull diamonds or junk, they'd ride it all up to New York and sell it off. I'm sorry I pissed you guys off. I'm new to the site, I didnt know to say nothing is the way it is. Sorry to offend
Well..... Not guna get into the bickering match , but nice SLQ, I love the designs that debuted 100 yrs ago. SLQs Mercs, and walkers all beautiful pieces of art, and I'd have to agree, coin grading is a skill that can take years to learn, and more than a lifetime to master. I'm constantly trying to learn thru osmosis
You didn't irritate anybody. You must keep in mind that @Insider is just jealous because if he said anything like the rest of us, he would be suspended, and his wife @Big Money , wouldn't be happy because they use the same computer. Chris
Got it, I dont know everyone and what might have happened in the past or the present, I respect the knowledge you guys have and the last thing I want to do is make enemies. I should have kept my nose out of it. Peace man and thanks for being the bigger man. Ive read you posts and I've learned
Actually, she would be extremely happy if I quit posting! ...more time for my "to-do-this-minute" list.
