Kennedy With Wild Hair!

Hi all my friends, thought I'd share this with you.....I was going thru my collection a few days ago looking for coins to sell to support my Silver $ addiction. Before I put any coin up for sale, I give it a good look for any errors etc. This one was a easy spot and kinda cool. So I thought I'd share and get some opinions. This looks to be a strike thru, I think...the hair/crack is recessed. Could be planchet error?Any thoughts? Anywho, this has been PCGS graded as PR69DCAM Type 2 (1979 S)

Thanks Idries, that was my thought as well, wonder if this adds a little more value?

 

Nothing really major. But to some error collectors they would pay extra for it. I have a similiar struck through on Proof Dime that I paid a little more than what it is really worth.

 

Pretty cool!! I'd call it the "Thunderstruck Kennedy".

 

Lends a new definition to accented hair Kennedy.

 

Looks like the trail slugs leave on the sidewalk in the morning.
