I have a 1974 Kennedy half dollar that is about 50% off center and has an indented head side and an raised head on the other side. I think I read that another coin stuck before this type error and caused the two head error. Anyone have any idea what this maybe worth? Scott
Sounds like you have an off-center strike with a mirror brockage on the reverse. This error occurs when a coin remains in the striking chamber and a fresh planchet is fed on top of it. In your case, the planchet was only halfway in the striking chamber. These errors are quite rare and very desirable.
