I just by luck was given 1776-1976 bi-centinial half dollar,1900 morgan silver dollar and3 gold susan b anthony dollar. I was wondering the value of these coins. I also have several other silver coins from early 1900's to present.
    11-1978 Susan p Anthony dollars

    4 Jefferson Nickels dates 1940-53

All coins are in excellent shape and are placed in plastic sleeves. Could you give me a general idea of there worth? Thank you very much for your time and effort.

    Richard -

The coins you mention - if they are circulated - are probably only worth face value. If they are uncirculated - and extremely nice at that - they may be worth a few dollars each. Even high grade examples of these coins are seldom worth more than $20.

The Morgan dollar could be worth a couple hundred dollars if it had the right mint mark and was a high grade coin. If not - a nice uncirculated example might go for around $30. A nice circulated example would be half that.

By the way - the 3 gold SBA dollars - are likely gold plated and would have no value to a collector. They are made by various novelty companies and sold as mementos.
