Kennedy Half Dollar - 1965 DDO-007 with a New USB Camera

    My son talked me into picking up a new USB camera from eBay and it arrived today.

    Right out of the box, I took a few pictures of a Kennedy half dollar that was handy.

    I'm not sure how this camera will work on the full image of a large coin but my first impression of documenting the “markers” of a variety through a slab with just ambient lighting for a quick picture is good.

    I just did a "BUT IT NOW" for $59.99 You might be able to do it cheaper.

    There for a second, I was thinking you paid $59.99 for the 65 DDO.........

    BTW, where did you find that wonderful Kennedy??

    I wish I could say that I only had about $60 into the 1965 DDO-007 but unfortunately I have considerably more.

    This particular variety has been on a “want list” for us with a dealer out of California and considering he was the one that first reported it to CONECA back in the late 1990’s, he knew what he had and I had to pay accordingly. The coin graded MS63 at PCGS (unattributed) so overall, we are happy.

    Please, share more pictures of some of your and Caleb's varieties. All the reference books are sorely lacking.
