I have some of these coins that I purchased 25 or so years ago and can not find any information about them anywhere. Memory indicates they are 2 troy ounce fine silver, but i have no idea who minted them or when. The coins are 55 mm diameter x 3.5 mm thick and weigh net 70 grams, and are hallmarked ARGCR 999.9 (the C is a c and not an O) I have included several photos in different lighting conditions, hopefully good enough to show it well. Any info will help. Is their any value above silver content alone? Thanks for looking.

Not a coin, but a token.
I don't see any numismatic value.

Agreed. But I am fairly sure that this "ARGCR" is an error. Won't affect the value, but it should say ARGOR (the manufacturer's name) ...

    Yes, silver is a metal.
The object in question is a medal.
