I have approx. 100 or so of these, and about 30 are uncirculated, does anyone know much about this coin inparticular? i know that was the first year, but i am also pretty sure there were alot of them made?
There were indeed a lot of them made - over 277 million & 156 million D. Value, even for the uncs is dependent on grade. Even in MS65 they are only worth about $15. Silver value is about $2.50 each.
