Probably a spender but if you have been reading the replies to your multiple other paper questions like this, many people simply KEEP stars. Post an image of the note. We need to know condition above (almost) all else. It would also help to know if this was printed at Fort Worth or DC? As I keep suggesting you to do, Buy and READ some books on small sized paper currency... consult these web sites for: star notes & more
The BEP pumped out over THREE MILLION of this run (4), which makes this a common Star. Book value in CH-CU is $5, and you can useally find these on eBay for $3. I personally collect Distict Sets of Star notes, and if I needed a 2003A Atlanta run-4 note, I would keep it.....but if you're wondering if you hit the lottery, or can retire now...the answer is no.
dc... does it really make a difference? i don't know much about paper, so this is a serious question.
keep all stars but honestly, Krispy does have a couple good points! When asking for advice on values or 'keeper's, images are a must. Plus, pick up a book or two. Not that we dont mind seeing oodles and oddles of pictures of notes, even those that might not be worth much, but a book would answer a billion of your questions. Still post the pictures, but at least you would already know the answers swish513 - DC and FW are two different printing facilites that each have different mintage numbers. DC might have 6million, while FW might only have 600,000 or vice-versa. We have the 12 district, and 2 printing facilities which makes each series up to 24 notes long... factor in stars and you up to as many as 48 notes
@ swish: sure, it could, to determine printage based on the series. however, there were no FW stars for Fr.1931F only DC Fr.1930F, quite a few of them at that 2003A * reference
