I'm trying to figure out what the release date of the keelboat nickels are. I looked on the mints website but couldn't find the information. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
The US Mint began selling the 2004 Westward Journey Keelboat nickels in bags and rolls on August 2nd, 2004 at 12:00 PM (ET).
I just started collecting... I just started collecting. While they are Ebay bought, I have P&D from 2003, 2004, 2005. In mint sealed box. Guess I'll never find out if they are really in there. Gonna hold them forever probably. I knew I shoulda bought 2 sets of each But I'm a collector not a seller. Maybe someday if I can retire off the sale of one I will but I highly doubt that day will come. Maybe my great great grandkids will be happy.
