Perhaps you should upload it onto the site. Also, check with a magnifying glass where the "S" should be. If there is no reminice of one (such as scratches, outlines) you may have a collectors item.

Howdy smokey - Welcome to the Forum !!

Coins like this have no particular value to speak of - it is likely a filled die error. Dirt, grease and debris can sometimes fill portions of the die and prevent letters, numbers and even parts of the design from being struck. They are quite common.

They may be common but there still coll huh! I have a united sates cent Its cool as heck.

I just got my first rolls of the Kansas today. I was down right shocked. After seeing the quality of the nickles I was expecting the large fields on the Kansas Quarter to be dinged up and mashed. Low and behold I think I got two rols of MS68 or better. Well mabey not that good but there are some that could pass for non cameo proofs.

Now I have to admit I have considered this one to be my fav since I saw the concept drawing. (the only better being the ND one next year) I may be baised but I was also stunned. I had to get out the loupe to find blemishes on most of them. I had a hard time determining which ones to give to my moms collections. (She thumbs them into albums so I usually giver her the slightly discolored ones since they will be discolored anyway.)

In short, for once, I am impressed by the mint.
