Kansas Humpback Buffalo - Early Die Stage?

    Could this be it? The “hump” is raised and in the right spot. Thanks for looking and opining.

    Looks like it is the right spot but don’t have the “hair” lines. Could be early die stage Wait for others...

    Isn’t the Humpback Buffalo also a die chip only larger? Could this be an early stage of the Humpback die chip that eventually got larger? I ask that because the small die chip is in the same exact location.

    Some die chips do keep getting larger as the die wears out. The state quarter dies are very prone to get chips in them and some folks tries to talk them up like as if they were the rarest thing on earth. I have lots of state quarters from chipped dies. The biggest die chip on a state quarter that I ever found looked exactly like a big acorn in front of Washington's face. I sold it to one of the moderators on here and have never seen another one.
