juts got this today

    i went to a local store today and got this back for back in change!!!!!
    i cant belive my luck lately

    That's a nice $10 note.Some countries' traders don't like taking notes that were issued prior to 1990,because they afraid that it might be a forgery.

    not worth more than face.......
    I just deposited a few of these cause I had to.....
    I still get the older $100 bills when I cash my paycheck.
    You will still run into these older $5,$10, $20, $50 and $100 bills for the next 5 years or so, as they are put into circulation from various bank vaults across the country.
    I would save nice XF-AU examples, if you can afford to do so.....

    All of the old style notes ought to be saved unless they are damaged. I tell you what bzcollektor, I dunno what your secret to getting old bills from banks is but I have litterally gone through 600 tens from various Wamu locations over the past several months and not a one was pre-1999! So sadly I must disagree with you on this 30 year old note not being a saver as I simply never find old tens anymore in circulation.

    Actually I save any Federal Reserve notes that I get from the 1970s, unless they are damaged.
