I was just wondering if there is an actual value of the peace P and D roll set? I know on ebay its at least 40 bucks but is that to early for the redbook? I do have 1 set but now i wish I got more with there prices.
The value on the set, if unopened, is really all over the map - ranging from around $30 to upwards of $70. As for "actual value" that is a sticky term, especially with something like this. There are some real supply and demand issues at play here and the values right now are very much depending upon a particular dealer's supply and the number of collectors clamoring for unopened sets. So I guess the actual value becomes whatever a buyer and seller agree on.
There are dealer's across the nation selling thses rolls - P $14.95 - D $5.95 - both $20. And those are just the nationally advertised ads. You can find them cheaper. Now you tell me what they're worth.
For whatever reason, in my person opinion completely unjustified of course, the unopened two roll sets are bringing the high numbers. Go figure.
