I probably have the smallest collection of anyone on here, but I am a recent collector. So just to brag... 16 Dansco albums 602 coins $773.42 spent on "keep coins" 23% completion of albums The attached file needs to be unzipped. The first worksheet is an index. Each additional worksheet represents one album. The last worksheet is for coins which I do not have an album for. Of course, there are no duplicate coins.
Pfft, mine is smaller than that. I can't find the awesome part of my collection, unfortunately. And I don't own a single Dansco. I own 208 coins if you don't count wheats. I have about 1k wheat pennies... All pulled from circ, BTW. Of those 208 non-wheats, 110 have been pulled from bank rolls, mostly halves and silver dimes. The lost part of my collection would probably double the size of it, and would have plenty of pieces that would be fairly valuable... dammit.
Caught me before the edit, haha... Yeah, I inherited a ton of large cents in f-xf, along with some old halves, indian head cents, nickels quarters, tons of stuff. It's lost somewhere in my house.
16 Danscos? I have 4, and not even 50% done on ANY of them! lol My whole collection doesn't consist of 600 plus coins, so, I'm officially stating your collection isn't small!!! You should post some pictures. What series of coins are the Dansco's for?
602 coins isn't that small of a collection. Some of the greatest collections of all time were far smaller than that. Quantity doesn't always mean better. Guy~

I probably have about 10 thousand coins, 8000 of which is wheats. My collection is quantity not quality right now, but that changes for the better every day.
I have a couple hundred wheats and a couple hundred silver junk, but I don't count them. They just came along with the ones that I wanted. I plan on selling them.
No gold, I know that much... it was my really nice stuff in that album, and everything else was loose save for a few coins that got dumped into my world collection after buying... BTW, those numbers don't include my world coins, which I also inherited. I scoured it up and down shortly after joining the forums here. Took me 3 days, didn't find it... I think it is currently resting in our barn right now.
Haha, hey I live in suburban Philly... our home and property used to be an apple orchard circa 1880-1950. Yeah, I metal detected the crap outta this property and didn't find jack. Disappointing.
