Just purchased this Franklin Prf63 in a rattle box. $15.00 shipped. I know it isn't rare but it is the highest grade Franklin I have and also, never owned a PCGS rattle slab. I know that isn't a big deal, but what the heck. It is all in fun anyway. Mike

I know there's a MDO for this year and being the variety nut I am .
It's either a DDO, or the MDO .

Closeups would be needed to know which one it is ...

Good deal. You have to wonder why someone would pay the fee and shipping to certify something worth about $5 at the time. Probably has a fairly low population.

Franklin halfs that are high grade are worth having them graded.
Full bell lines and full strikes bring top bucks....no matter the mintage.
Sort of like a 64 or 64 D Jefferson nickel two of the most highly produced coins this century, yet find a full step well struck specimen and you're in high cotton.
    However a 62 proof in 63 isn't high dollar....
