All before 1900. A few culls here and there but mostly respectable. Averaged out to around 1.00 per coin.

That's a pretty good deal. You're no longer just a Wheatie anymore. How did you come across such a large amount of pennies? Was it another collection?

I got them from the same person I get all my wheats from. I think next week I may get all of the 1900-1909 from him at 90 cents per. (around 300 more)

You've got a great source there. I get a picture of a 90 year old with sacks of coins that they saved over the years just for the heck of it.

Now that is a really nice deal. Don't loose that friend or whatever he is.

There is here an inherent tip for just about everyone. I've bought hoards of coins from friends who had accumulated them. Just for the "good karma," whenever I have the opportunity to participate in such a transaction, I always make sure to give my friends a better deal than they would get by taking such accumulations to the local coin store.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit how well I've done on some of these deals. But I tried to be sure that the other party has done even better, at least as compared with their other options.

Current buy prices for dealers are just under .75 cents down here.

Current buy prices for dealers are just under .75 cents down here. I like to get them for .65 cents myself. You guys pay a lot for coins is all I can offer.

A family member gave me two rolls of indian cents for christmas; I found TWO 1872's in VF and an 1874, along with an 1867 in AG. Talk about good karma :)
