DUDE! All I have to say is wow!!!! I just got through watching the sales video. I am so impressed that I am tempted to buy this thing right now. My better senses though, tell me to wait until you get it and try it out first before I jump to any conclusions. Very nice package and I can't wait until we hear about your feedback.
Oh this is sweet! Perfect for viewing those die cracks, double dies, and other hard to find errors. Definitely post some pics when you get them. -LTB

OK Dustin.....you have all of CT waiting for your results! :kewl: I saw your thread and I can't wait to see the detailed pics of what you have. I am looking forward to next week! :hail:
I opened the box today. I spent about 4 hours learning how to do every possible adjustment and I have some very bad news. The field of viewing is not very large. About two numbers of the date of a penny at the widest setting. I'm very disappointed.
My Father-In-Law passed away Thursday and I have little time to chat right now. I'll try to get back in a few hours. Sorry
Sorry to hear about your father in law. Don't worry about the scope. Take care of your family. We will be here when you get back.
How is this bad news and why are you disappointed? It's a microscope! The whole point is to get microscopic images which are going to have a very small FOV. For $200 this looks like a pretty nice toy. I'll be interested to see pics.
My thoughts exactly. Microscopes have limited field of view. The whole point of such an contraption is to zoom in for extreme closeups in a particular area. I'm truly saddened to hear about the passing of your father-in-law.
