Thanks for showing your cents. About a year ago, I found 1 raw 1986D Lincoln. It looked like it just came out of the Mint. I put it in a 2x2 and then in a plastic coin holder. It looked so nice, I didn't want to mess it up. I can't take pictures now because I can't hold my camera still. I bought a Canon AE-1 about 25 years ago. With the digital cameras, my has become out dated. I still have film in it from years ago. I should take the film out and see what's in the camera.. The film has been in there for about 25 years. He got a drink, looked at the camera and said it was a nice camera, then he got into his car and drove off. Sorry for the tale. My wife says I talk too much. I'm sure she's right.
When we were young talking was the primary mode of communication and passing of stories from one generation to the next. I get the same accusations.
Hey I’m a talker. It would be cool to see what’s on that film. If you have a phone as some say here, put the camera on then point to the coin and sit it on a can or cup to keep it still. Yes I find some pretty ones, even the zincolns some say lol. It’s good to store them. I am backed up on putting in flips as I go.
We have six complete sets of 1909-1940 Lincolns. The '09 SVDB's are AU-58 to MS-63 as well are the rest of the coins. We will enjoy them until our end, then they go to our 3 terrorists granddaughters. Gotta love them. Thanks for the post.
They are terrorists @PamR, they tear up the home and leave us to pick up the mess! We would not have it any other way, after all we are grandparents.
Yep! I have a 6, 5 and 4 yr old which are siblings from my step daughter and my son just had a little one. Love them but wow sometimes. Hand full when all together lol. They listen better to me than Papa lol! When we went on vacation we took our kids. But sometimes I think they prefer to come to our house lol.
@PamR, Live for the moment, love every second, life is to short! Carry a big stick might help, no, forget it. Good luck grandma.
You are so right. Hard to believe my son is 25. We are very close. He and his wife are so good with their baby girl. No stick for the older ones but they listen to “Pammy” better than Papa lol. You enjoy as well.
@PamR, I'm surrounded by girls; 3 granddaughters, a wife, and 2 female dogs. I plead with our son for a boy, but he and his wife staunchly say no, I can't win.
