Hi just got this today. I know the pictures suck sorry. I haven’t posted in a while been busy but still collecting

 

I’m still not sure about grading I’m trying to learn but been very busy and haven’t had much time to sort through the ones I find. I know the pictures aren’t great I’ll try to take better ones tomorrow. I was just trying to get an idea on what this might grade. Thanks

 

Are you even sure this is real? This is a key date cc coin and there are many fakes and yours looks off.....others can chime in

 

I know it’s a key date that’s why I’m asking. I just got it so I hope so. It weighs 26.75

OP, where did you buy this? In general for a rare coin like this, you would want a guarantee that its real and/or a slabbed coin from NGC/PCGS. If it turns out to be fake, can you even get a refund?

I paid 50 at a pawn shop lol

If they were selling a key date morgan for 50 dollars, they knew it was a fake.

 

lol oh man, be prepared for a not so good ending. Go look what this goes for even in low grades it goes for a lot! Granted not all pawn shops know what they are doing, the obverse of your coin is fishy. Its mushy with bad details, Ive actually owned fake cc morgans just to see how well they are made.

 

I know they are faked a lot and I know the pictures aren’t great. I haven’t diped it yet. I just wanted to see what the concencess was and what to look for.

 

I hear ya but these people don’t know what they are selling. Younger kids work at this shop and every time I go out of town I stop in the shop. I’ve got some good deals.

Plus 4 books not full but 58 mercury,21 buffalo nickels,34 silver quarters,63 Jefferson nickels and the Morgan and peace for 350

 

The date on your coin does not look right to me. It is uneven and the numbers are not spaced evenly. The denticles on the right side go out to the edge but there is no extra edge on the left side like a mis-aligned die strike.
