Does anyone know of a dealer of junk swiss silver, similar to selling bags of 90% US coins?

I like the swiss coins, and am thinking about buying some near, at or slightly below melt (maybe).

    Thanks for your help.

As a rule most foreign silver has been destroyed in much higher percentages than US silver. I don't know if this applies to Swiss but would guess it does. Such bags wouldn't be too difficult to find in Switzerland but they will prove difficult here. The only Swiss dealer I know in the US retired a decade ago.

You'l likely have to find them a few hundred dollars worth at a time on eBay.

I think world silver is a great way to own silver. Not only does it have the high attrition and lower mintages but large quantities can disappear suddenly when governments melt it down. Buy ing nice attactive coins at favorable prices should be a great bet. Some things like British India sterling in high grades can be had for close to melt. Just be aware that you don't know what kind of market you'll be selling into and such coins might be heavily discounted in weak markets. Don't overpay.
