So this weekend I was doing what I enjoy doing at a coin show - I was going through junk silver.
In the process I came across this Mercury dime.
It has some beautiful toning that doesn't really come across in the photo (it has some nice blues and purples).
Anyway - I bought it for $2. I know it is a common date, but what do you all think about it? Anyone want to place a value in it (how much above melt might it be worth?)

Does this Mercury show signs of a doubled mintmark?:pompous:

So it's not just me. There is something going on with the mint mark.

Here's a better photo of the mintmark.
Anyone like to venture an opinion?

It's nice but it's a $2 common date dime. Enjoy it and get more of them.
