Joseph W.Barr notes series 1963B I sometimes think that I am losing my memory.When I was a kid back in 1969 my dad gave me 10 JWB notes series 1963B with the #9 Minneapolis seals on them.According to all sources I read ,these did not exist with #9. Am I nuts or did some accidently get printed with Minneapolix seals???I wish I still had the notes.Spent them on a new tackle box and fishing gear.How dumb of me.any reply graciously appreciated Lloyd P.S Ol' Shaun Leffler sold a complete set on his show the other night and they did not include any 9's. Amendum: 12/17/08 I went back and located my old inventory records and they list the Barr notes that I had ( 7 of them) as coming from dist 9 in minneapolis.Could these have been printed in error? of course it really doesnt help much because i spent them long ago.just very curious.
Hello There were 5 districts that printed JWBarr notes... They were; (B)New York, (E)Richmond, (G)Chicago, (J)Kansas City and (L)San Francisco. Only 4 of these districts printed star notes. Kansas City (J) was the only district not to print stars! RickieB
