Hello, I bought an uncirculated roll of John Tyler Presidential coins (P Mint mark) today. I looked for off center coins, nothing. Weight issues, nothing, and a bunch of other things. But when I examined this coin's edge, it looked doubled. Also, on Tyler's face, their is 2 scratches through his face. Tell me what you think. Thank you in advance!!!

(The coin's stacked on eachother was a compare picture, the one on the top being what I thought as the doubled one, the bottom being normal).

The edge lettering on the top coin appears to have been made with a worn die. It does not appear to be doubled to me.

The scratches are just that - scratches. Post-Mint damage. No added value. In fact, scratches detract from a coin's grade and value.

    I would spend them.
