There seems to be so much interest in Dansco's 7070 Type album and at the same growing interest in Darkside coins, I was wondering: A Darkside Type album that instead of slots for specific designs has slots for specific diameter/composition? For example: Copper-Nickel 28mm Steel 28mm Brass 28 mm, Copper-nickel 33mm Brass 33 etc. It would be like putting a jig-saw puzzle together only better. With the 28mm copper nickel for example there could be thousands of World coins in copper-nickel 28 mm. So people could pick whatever they liked best or could afford the easiest. And it would be a practical way to reduce the scope of World Coins into a form of Type Collecting. Anyone think this could fly? Does something like this already exist?

We have or had blank albums. They were used for things such as cuds. They were just holes for Lincoln cents or whatever and you wrote in your own info.
