I had just searched through a couple straps of Georges, and was cashing in the rejects. I noticed the teller had a few halves, one with a light outer edge. It was indeed silver, and not only that, it was a 1970-D in particular! Silver key date, and I got it for face value. Now I have the whole series (except for 2012 and most proofs)
