Jewelry mark, or verdigris?

Looking to upgrade my Braided Hair half cent in my 7070.

I came across this 1853 Half Cent. Coin looks nice (perhaps cleaned), but it was the two major marks on the reverse that grabbed my attention.

i can’t decide whether those markings are jewelry marks, or verdigris.

Based on the coloring, I’m leaning towards solder marks from jewelry. However, they seem to be in odd locations for that.

    Thoughts or opinions?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

That color is very wrong. It looks like it was polished or cleaned and then retoned. I'm not sure about the jewelry aspect (I don't see typical jewelry marks, and a half cent wouldn't typically be the sort of thing in jewelry).

However, I'd say to avoid this one.... it has problems. Try to look for a nice, original coin.
