I was talking to a dude at work this afternoon, who mentioned he had a New Jersey State Quarter without the "New" on the Reverse. It just had "Jersey" on thr reverse. I googled for a bit, and found no information on this. Any one have any thoughts? thanks
Without pictures it is difficult to be sure but it sounds like s grease filled die. They are fairly common and not worth much of a premium. Richard
Well, for those of us who live in southern NJ, there is no "new"... just north Jersey (a suburb of New York) and south Jersey. Maybe you could post a pic...
For those of us from New York, it's just Jersey all the time. North, South, whatever... the only relevant question is really, "What exit?" It could be a gag quarter. Sort of like this one I saw once...
Not from NJ, but have been there a bunch of times. South Jersey is as nice a place as most any on the East Coast. Laid-back country folk, and rural state roads. Elizabeth, Newark, New Brunswick, Atlantic City and the rest, are not on my "places to visit" list. LOL Maybe if I could speak the language (not sure what that would be) it would be diferent.
