Jefferson Nickel sale: You make the call

I'm a Jefferson collector (anyone else?). I just came across the following in Ebay. A roll of BU 2005 Jeffersons for $24.95. Our local newspaper had a full page add selling these, too. I will be politically correct and not say anything else.

I'd pay $2 for it. Whatever paper they're rolled in and whastever pretty bag they're put in, they're still 40 nickels of which hundreds of millions exist in uncirculated condition, which makes them worth no more than 5 cents each as far as I'm concerned, lol. Anybody want a roll of brilliant uncirulated 2005 nickels, you can go to the bank and get one for $2, not have to pay shipping or insurance, though you won't get that pretty bag, if that's a deal breaker for you.

 

You are so right a nickel is 5 cents $2.00 a roll.

 

Nobody bid on them. Anyone else surprised at that?

Maybe there are limits.

I think the 2004 -p peace medal is down to $19.00 a roll now in one year it will be $2.00 a roll.
