I was wondering if someone knew where I could find some info on the original design of Felix Schlag for the Jefferson nickel that was turned down. Mainly I wan't to see pictures. Was a prototype ever made?? Many questions! I searched the web and CT but found nothing. Thanks!
You can see the original design here. http://varietynickels.com/media/414026001o.jpg Also, CONECA had the orignal design produced for them, I think they had 20,000 produced, not positive on that number. It's been several years since CONECA had this done and they occasionally show up on ebay.
