Found these tonight CRHing. The first I would say less than 5% off center. But the second has me stumped. uploadfromtaptalk1425788794650.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1425788808657.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1425788820770.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1425788831035.jpg

The first is not an off-center strike, but rather a misaligned die. This is evident from the fact that only the obverse is misaligned. The second coin is simply a dryer coin damaged outside the mint.

I totally agree with your MAD observation, but what is wrong with Jefferson's Scalp?

I think it was in someone's pocket with an Indian head cent and got scalped.
