Found this today and at first glance it appeared to be a 1951-S. Upon closer inspection it appears the S is over the D? Any insight is appreciated. image.jpg image.jpg

Sure looks like an S over D. Is that variant listed by Fivaz?

Sorry, but it looks like the D mm was hit and the metal displaced. Only damage, not a variety

Looks like a D to me but the image is out of focus.

Looks like a D that took a hit. I am unaware of any D over S or S over D for the 1951.
Here are the S and D reverses for 1951. It doesn't help much.

Looks like a damaged D. The hit was from the lower left side going to the right and up.
