    Howdy Y'all
In a post last week I said I got a 3" Jefferson Mint Medal off e-bay and just got it today and had a question.
It was used as a Paperweight and has some rub spots on both sides---Jefferson's Shoulder, Cheek, and Hair...and on the back, its the fingers
How much will that decrease the value from the $38.00 the mint sells them for??

This piece is going in my collection and not for sale but I would like to have a ball-park price to list in my inventory.

    Thanks

My guess would be that those medals are so common that it's value would be substantially reduced from wear and probably worth about $10 now...

Unless it is an older one with a "real" aged bronze finish. These older ones might bring a slight premium to a serious collector.

Many of these medals are made for decades, and although they can noit be dated, early ones are sometime distinguishable due to a different method of finishing the coin.
