First coin has what appears to be a baquet of flowers on front with either chinesse or japanesse letters, then on back the number 100 with at the bottom some more japanese,or chinese letters or numbers and a american num.48 in the middle, it's a pewter color.
The second coin has a china, japan emperor on front with some japanese or chinese letters or numbers by his head and under him.On back number 100 with 1979 below it. Thank for the help sorry I have no scanner for a pic.

The first coin is a Japanese 100 yen cu-ni coin (Y#82 - mintage 680-million that year) dated Showa 48 (1973). Unless it is in brilliant uncirculated condition - equivalent to MS67 or better, it's worth face value - about 84¢ at current exchange rates.

The second is probably a Taiwanese 100 Yuan, but I don't know enough about them to positively identify yours from the description.

The second coin is a copper-nickel 100 Won of South Korea featuring Admiral Yi Soon-Shin. There were 130 million minted that year and collector value, depending on amount of wear, may be up to about $1.
