In january, when you can"t go out to do MD,because of bad weather, l bought some coins..This Caligula as, l sold to my friend 4 years ago, l bought back..Caligula as was cut off in ancient times..l have to clean more between letters..Weight 9.5o gr., and in my opinion, a very interesting coin in VF grade..Another coin is barbaric imitation of Constantine? small bronze..

Nice coins, the Caligula has a nice portrait.

The Caligula is interesting. Probably cut to make change, but with the amount cut it is hard to say if they were making a Semis or a Quadrans. Note how like the Augustus and Agrippa asses of Namausus they carefully avoided damaging the portrait of the emperor.

    Very interesting coin!
