Went to order the silver uncirculated Jamestown Commerative today and got a message it was backordered. Is that doublespeak for "you will not get your order - we are sold out"? Jim
back ordered I think it means they are not all made yet or, you have to wait till the orders ahead of yours are shipped. I ordered mine the first day and am still waiting for my unc,s. I did get my proof though.
I got mine in Jamestown. : ) Thought I would get a jump on the crowd only to receive the minto ordered ones a few days later. Gold and Silver, Proofs and Uncs. All in hand here.
Jim, When they are sold out they say "No Longer Available". This is just a common statement for you may be waiting a little while before we ship it. My proof came a couple weeks after I ordered it and I hope to get the Unc. about a month after I have ordered it. In the case of my ASE Unc. it is still back ordered but I think that will ship in 2 weeks. BTW/IMO - the Jamestown looks much nicer in person. Good Luck
