12 or 15!! Nice coin

I'd also say 12 to 15. Your coin is quite a refreshing change from the usual escapees from a bank bag.

 

Fine , maybe old cleaning, but nice.

 

I'm very inexperienced at grading below AU. I do know that if the Eagle's right wing is not showing full lines on feathers and chest feathers are blurry to go down to VF-20. After scrolling down I see the others grades and they say it's lower and they are probably right. I do think there was a polish job at some point as the stars seem off.

 

The first "T" in STATES could be a problem...I'll go 20 Details.

I think F15, I really like the look of the coin and the history it represents. Much more attractive and interesting to me than the standard white luster bomb that lay in a bag on the floor of a bank vault for the better part of a century.

 

I think there's enough meat on those bones for VF20.
