To Canadian proof sets! They are housed really nicely in a leatherette book in a plastic box. They put US proof sets to shame, and are comparable to a prestige set.
So you have become addicted to collecting packaging. Usually people who spend time on Cointalk get smarter.
I have a couple of those black plastic boxes from them I keep really odd Chinese coins in. I personally am just not a fan of any coins with all the same boring obverses, but if you like them man then cool for you! You can buy them pretty cheaply if I remember correctly.
I see a lot of coins in those sets with a golden brown toning. The packaging is not ideal for keeping proofs blast white.
The non-silver coins are fine, any toning is just the lighting I used. I've also seen tons of US proof sets that have "ghosted over".
Lol. I've also seen uk proof sets ghost over. I think it's the cardboard like material in them and us proof sets that cause it.
Me, too! Gonna hafta get me one of those. "A moose once bit my sister... " (obligatory 'Monty Python' reference)
