I metal detected two 1925 SLQ's last Monday (Memorial day)

I remember that post. It sounded like an awesome day.

 

Back in the 50's we saw several SLQ's a week. Quite a few in my set were found in change and some were traded for. Usually a SLQ would be quite worn. The one below was the first I ever got out of pocket change with so much detail. Wow, was I excited. It told me that they were still out there. I started looking at quarters more.
