I’m glad I found someone that was willing to part with her two Roosevelt dimes when I did. =) Collectors my be a little reluctant to split up this set. :whistle:
I bought another three sets and they arrived last Friday. They seem to be of "higher" quality than the first 3 I ordered except for one of the nickels that has a large line from Tom's chin to the bottom of the coin. Doesn't look like a bag mark, more like a wire or a thin piece of the rim was pressed into the plachet when it was struck. Otherwise, they look pretty good. When do they release the final mintage numbers?
I have usually been collecting the proof sets, but is this years a good one to buy? I mean its sold out now, but should I buy one from ebay while they are still a little cheap?
i ordered 2 more about a week ago so if they do raise in price then i can sell all 5 i have or 4, you know, its been so long with football and weightlifting- I dont remember how much i bought of what i bought
