Well, it's Monday again and a brand-new thread called, "Misstruck Monday!". A thread all about Error coins. [IMG]

I had 2 off center cent strikes but sold them.
Closest thing I have to that would probably be more for Mutilated Monday :p
I found it this way so I don't know what the last use was for this cent. IMG_20250313_204524356.jpg IMG_20250313_204516376.jpg

Sal, The Blank Planchet is not misstruck. It wasn't never struck ;)

The 2000 Cent was misstruck. Off Center of course.

The 1989 was not misstruck. It was struck correctly but on a Incomplete Planchet. That does not occur during the striking process.

The 1987 Nickel Cud is neat but I wouldn't put it in the misstruck category. It's a Die issue that caused that appearance. It also didn't occur as a result of the strike. Some would consider a Cud a variety since there were several struck that way and it could be documented on websites such as the Cud on coins website.

Error Coin Monday instead of "Misstruck Monday?" Maybe I should have gone with "Mutilated Monday!"?
Oh well, at least I tried. Maybe someone will have a really cool error for Us. :nailbiting:

Well, I can't post any pictures of any "misstruck" coins because I don't have any. Not a single one. But, if you're just looking for something that was "misstruck", I can post a picture of my thumb! It's been "misstruck" way to many times, lol.
