I'm cleaning house. Is there ANY (other than the 2009 dime) roll worth holding on to? As a child I remember my father always having rolls or "tubes" of pennies, nickels, etc. so in my early years I hoarded bank rolls of modern coins. Just about everything from 2007 until 2011 - from pennies to the presidents is boxed up for long term keeping. I understand the crystal ball dynamic... but history, mintage, etc. should give SOME ideas, no? Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
Both 2009 P & D minted nickels are still selling at a premium. Not as much as it was during its release, but still quite a bit more than the other dates surrounding it.
any half dollar roll from 2002 or newer, any dollar coin roll from 2012-present or sacageweas from 2002-2008, and original rolls of WWJ nickels.
