Well this came about today and I thought I would add it to the collection. Series 1928 $100 numeral note in CHCU but it's a Cleveland! Wish it were NY... RickieB
clevland ... New York ... whats in a name? the note is beautiful ... and with good olde Ben .. you cant go wrong!! That sure is a beauty!!!
growing up in New England, i always love looking at Liberty Hall and Ben! If you set this note enxt tot he New York collection, or really dont think anyone would question weather or not it belongs lol
Well RickieB, There's really only one thing to do at this point. Start shifting toward Cleveland notes to fill out the set. Many are much scarcer anyway! Shall I stop now? Nice note. clembo
Clembo... you are correct! The New York theme is not at all about rarity..LOL in fact NY has just about the largest printing numbers of all the FRBanks! I do like the numeral notes and will pick what I can from what comes available... I do have a few other nice Clevelands as well and might just try to build a numeral set..the $100 is difficult to find so picking it up was a real no brainer! Regards, RickieB
clevleand... NY... whats the difference? do they look different, or is it just where they were pressed?
finally my own good note i thought best put it here thna start a new thread especially since no one except rickie might find it interesting. it has got a unique serial number 46644444 and its in CU condition. i dont know if it means any thing except its neat
ok it will have to wait till the weekend though. i first need to go tot he post office to mail out some stuff for my friends from CT and then i will do all the extra stuff. i must say i never find anything and this is quite a find by my standards
