Italy 10 Lire from the reign of Victor Emmanuel III (and a nice Albania 1 Lek coin)

Here is a 1936 Italy 10 Lire purchased at the ANA show. This one should make a nice addition to my Italian type coin set. IMO the art is very nice on many Italy coins made during the reign of Victor Emmanuel III. Emperor Victor Emmanuel III was the King of Italy from 1900 to 1946.

Several of the world coin dealers at the ANA were asked specifically for this coin. Amongst all the dealers, only two dealers offered me nice examples. (I thought this type coin would be more commonly available). IMO this one shows some very nice detail. :smile I hope that it is not just a high quality fake

1926R Albania 1 Lek

This next NEWP is a 1926 Albania 1 Lek. Like the previous Italian coin, I purchased this Albania coin for the beauty of its design. The 1926 date on this coin places it during the reign of King Zog I (before the Italy occupation in the 1939 timeframe).

This coin was not minted in Albania. It was minted on the other side of the Adriatic Sea in Rome Italy. It has the R mint mark for Rome.
