I have a particular fondness for this French note designed by Charles Walhain, so I have a regular eBay search for it in case something interesting pops up. This copy turned up today. It was issued in 1939 and is in fair condition according to some website but I would say its in readable condition. There are a few noticeable creases and tears. It may have been circulated but I am not sure. There is tape on it because there are tears in it as the pictures clearly show you. ROTFL - I want to know what web site said it was in fair condition... Thanks for the chuckle!
Don't they come staright from the press pre-folded so they fit in your pocket better?? Must have been what happened here. :hail: That is incredible someone would say that. Too good. haha
You guys didn't know they used scotch tape on '39 notes? The tape is clean and white, and not brown and coated with cat hair! I say it's GEM NEW!!!
