Isn't it always the way?

How come the only 1954 cents I've found in roll searching have been S mint? I mean, there were 3 1/2 times as many D and P minted, but I've found like a half-dozen S in $50 worth of pennies, but no D or P... :rolling:

Now that I think about it, I DO live in San Francisco...

In rolls, not much. Two log cabins. About 50 wheats from 100 rolls, but about 25 of those were from 5 "sweet" rolls, with nothing newer than '68. I got some BU 68 and 67 pennies from those. No wheats older than 45. I did, however, find a 38 Jefferson in my first batch of 20 nickle rolls last week.

I actually got lucky from eBay a few weeks ago. I had NO 1930's pennies in my folder, so bought a roll of "unsearched" 1930's wheats from eBay - $2.76 + shipping. All I really wanted were some hole fillers. I got 15 holes from 30-39 filled from the roll, plus an 1880 Indian, full LIBERTY, nice shield on the back! I guess they really WERE unsearched...

Really, you think they were unsearched?? They probably had a 14 D in them before they re rolled them up...
    Congrats on your find

All I know is, I paid less than they were worth. Too bad they took the SVDB out...

As long as you pay less than the thing is worth... :D
I've been burned too many times on unsearched crap... Although my last roll was okay, it was a roll of buffalo... Only 12 no dates... And about 7 or 8 had a half or three fourths horn.

Wow, Joe, you lucked out on that roll. I'm too sceptacle to buy "unsearched" rolls, but that one worked out for you....
